Sweetbox

Sweetbox is a retro style game set on a small island that was devastated by a huge storm. The player, one of the inhabitants, can explore and discover at his/her own pace.

Find treasure!
There are many things that the player can collect, sell or trade for favours. Taking a walk through the forest might get you some mushrooms, while exploring the beach let's you discover some washed up starfish. There are even some caves located on the island, filled with rocks or raw gold.

Chat it up!
The island is filled with various characters, some more helpful than others. It pays off talking to all of them. Some may simply chat about the weather, while others are giving you quests - with great rewards. There are also vendors trying to buy or sell different items.

Need for entertainment!
The player has the opportunity to watch movies at the local cinema (well ... one movie that survived the storm) or visit the local gambling den. Don't get caught cheating, though!

Fistful of cash!
Short on money? Collecting and selling mushrooms won't cut it? How about buying a small farm and harvesting the crops? Or, if you're feeling extra adventurous, you can explore the nearby caves and find some raw gold.
